Requires the State Board of Education to adopt rules mandating water bottle filling stations in newly constructed public schools and existing schools undergoing certain renovations starting January 1, 2022

Mandates a minimum of one water bottle filling station per floor and wing, plus stations in or near gymnasiums, cafeterias, and high-traffic areas

Requires at least one drinking fountain or water bottle filling station for every 100 students projected to attend the school

Applies to renovation projects costing $100,000 or more, or any project that includes installing or replacing drinking water fountains

Requires all water bottle filling stations to dispense filtered, chilled drinking water and be regularly cleaned and maintained; allows students and staff to carry refillable water bottles at school
