Requires the Mississippi Department of Education to grant a standard teaching license to any individual who possesses a valid standard license from another state, removing the previous requirement to meet minimum Mississippi license requirements or equivalent requirements

Eliminates the nonrenewable special license category that was previously available to individuals possessing credentials less than a standard license from another state

Maintains existing military spouse licensure provisions under Section 73-50-1 for reciprocity applicants who are military-trained or military spouses

Takes effect July 1, 2021
