Requires the Department of Child Protection Services to remove names from the central registry when a person is later determined to have been wrongfully convicted or adjudicated, and purge all references to that person's identity from records.

Mandates that reports of child abuse include the name of the reporter.

Requires disclosure of the reporter's identity to the alleged perpetrator if a report is determined to be knowingly false, and requires courts to strike false reports and purge references to the alleged perpetrator's identity from records.

Creates a civil cause of action for injunctive relief and compensatory damages for any person falsely accused in a report, effective from January 1, 2018.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
