County registrars must verify citizenship documentation for mail-in voter registration applications before completing the registration process

Voter registration application forms must include a section for applicants to indicate citizenship status and instructions to submit required proof documents

Applications providing only a naturalization certificate number instead of documentation will not be deemed complete until the registrar verifies the number with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
