Establishes an affirmative defense for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) providers in civil liability actions for damages or injuries caused by unforeseeable alterations or modifications to LPG equipment that rendered it unsafe.

Provides an affirmative defense when end-users operate LPG equipment outside its intended manner or purpose in a way that made the equipment unsafe, provided the LPG provider or manufacturer gave reasonable warning about misuse consequences.

Defines "liquefied petroleum gas equipment" as any appliance, equipment, or piping system that uses, stores, or transports LPG.

Defines "liquefied petroleum gas provider" as any person or entity engaged in supplying, handling, transporting, or selling LPG.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
