Creates an 18-member joint study committee to examine the University of Mississippi Medical Center's structure and compare it to other academic medical centers nationwide.

Committee must report recommendations to the Legislature by December 15, 2021, regarding organizational, operational, and financial structure, as well as the best academic medical center model for the institution and state.

Membership includes legislative committee chairs, two senators and two representatives, hospital executives, healthcare professionals, and non-voting ex officio members from the medical center and higher education office.

Requires state departments and agencies to provide facilities, assistance, information, and data requested by the committee to conduct its study.

Committee dissolves upon filing its final report to the Legislature.
