Requires the Mississippi Department of Education to license teacher candidates in any individual subject area where they receive a passing score on the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators examination, even if they did not achieve a passing composite score on the overall exam

Amends Section 37-3-2 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 governing teacher certification and licensure requirements

Allows teachers to obtain licensure in specific subjects based on demonstrated competency in those individual areas rather than requiring overall exam passage

Effective date of July 1, 2021
