Amends Mississippi Code Section 73-21-73 to revise the definition of "written guideline or protocol" in the Pharmacy Practice Act regarding delegated prescribing authority.

Requires a specific protocol agreement between a practitioner and pharmacist to be signed and filed, but removes the requirement that a separate protocol agreement be executed for each individual patient.

Allows practitioners to delegate specific prescribing functions to pharmacists in institutional settings or with the practitioner's individual patients under a single signed protocol agreement.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
