Removes the prohibition on the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol setting up radar speed detection equipment on highways within municipalities with populations exceeding 15,000 according to the latest federal census.

Allows municipal law enforcement in municipalities with populations over 15,000 to continue using radar equipment on federally designated highways within corporate limits.

Requires municipal law enforcement to immediately notify the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol of any road blockages or emergencies occurring on federally designated limited-access highways within municipal corporate limits.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
