Authorizes county registrars to notify voters within one business day of an election if their absentee ballot is provisionally rejected due to a signature mismatch between the absentee application and ballot envelope

Requires the notification to explain why the ballot was rejected and provide instructions on how to cure the deficiency

Sets a deadline of noon on the fifth business day after the election for voters to cure signature discrepancies, after which uncorrected ballots will not be counted

Maintains existing provisions that rejected ballots must be marked "REJECTED" with the reason and preserved like other election ballots

Effective date of July 1, 2021
