Expands the Board on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training from 13 to 14 members, adding representation from the Mississippi Association of Chiefs of Police

Allows university police officers to have jurisdiction beyond 500 feet from campus property through interlocal agreements with local law enforcement and governing bodies

Establishes the crime of reckless endangerment as a misdemeanor (up to $500 fine and 6 months imprisonment), or a felony if committed with a deadly weapon (up to $2,000 fine and 2 years imprisonment)
