Increases funding for the Mississippi State Department of Health to purchase accumulated compensatory time from $1.2 million to $3,240,000 for employees activated under COVID-19 emergency orders

Extends the deadline for compensatory time eligibility from December 30, 2020 to June 30, 2021

Creates the "State Fire Academy Workforce Program Fund" as a special fund in the State Treasury to support workforce training programs at the State Fire Academy

Exempts the State Fire Academy Workforce Program Fund from requirements that the academy be funded solely through General Fund appropriations, allowing it to retain workforce program revenues

Funds remaining in the State Fire Academy Workforce Program Fund at fiscal year end will not lapse to the General Fund and will retain any earned interest
