Amends Section 37-21-7 of the Mississippi Code to provide additional assistant teacher funding to school districts designated as "C," "D," and "F" under Section 37-17-6.

"C" districts receive funds for 1 additional assistant teacher, "D" districts for 2 additional assistant teachers, and "F" districts for 3 additional assistant teachers.

Assistant teacher allotments under this new section must be used exclusively for employment of assistant teachers and cannot be redirected to other purposes.

Maintains existing program requirements including minimum annual salary of $14,000, qualification standards (high school diploma and demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing), and district accountability measures.

Effective July 1, 2021.
