Extends the repeal date of the Lauderdale County Tourism Commission law from October 1, 2021 to October 1, 2025

Authorizes a hotel and motel room rental tax not to exceed 2.5% of gross proceeds from room rentals in Lauderdale County, with collections managed by the Department of Revenue

Establishes a seven-member commission appointed by the Lauderdale County Board of Supervisors (3 members), City of Meridian City Council (3 members), and Town of Marion Board of Aldermen (1 member)

Permits the commission to promote tourism, operate facilities, receive revenues from grants and donations, and with board approval, reserve funds for construction or debt service of a coliseum, multipurpose building, or convention center

Requires annual independent audits of commission finances with detailed supplemental schedules of expenditures and filing of audit reports with the circuit clerk and legislative delegation
