Honors the life and career of Ray Perkins, a legendary Alabama receiver who became head coach of the New York Giants and replaced Bear Bryant at Alabama, passing away on December 9, 2020, at age 79

Recognizes Perkins' accomplishments as Alabama receiver (All-America in 1966) and professional player for the Baltimore Colts (1967-1971), catching passes from Joe Namath, Snake Stabler, Johnny Unitas, and Earl Morrall

Acknowledges Perkins' coaching legacy of hiring Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick with the Giants; his 32-15-1 record at Alabama including three bowl wins; and his role in starting the Giants' turnaround that led to two Super Bowl victories under Parcells

Notes Perkins' later coaching roles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1987-1990), Arkansas State, and volunteer coaching at Presbyterian Christian and Jones Junior College, mentoring young players in his later years
