Suspends all deadlines and provisions of Joint Rule No. 40 to allow further consideration and passage of Senate Bill No. 2799 relating to Mississippi Medicaid program reimbursement and managed care provisions.

Suspends all deadlines and provisions of Joint Rule No. 40 to allow further consideration and passage of House Bill No. 1008 making technical amendments and revisions to Medicaid services, managed care, and assessment provisions.

Senate Bill No. 2799 authorizes Medicaid to make partial payments for nursing services, establishes reimbursement for obstetrician/gynecologist primary care at 100% of Medicare rates, and allows upper payment limits programs for ambulance transportation.

Senate Bill No. 2799 requires managed care contractors to disclose administrative expenses and employee counts to Medicaid committees and implement uniform credentialing by July 1, 2022, and authorizes up to 12 months postpartum Medicaid coverage for pregnant women.

Senate Bill No. 2799 removes restrictions on child/adolescent psychiatric beds, brain injury rehabilitation facilities, and remote patient telemonitoring services participation in Medicaid.
