Recognizes Popp's Ferry Elementary School (Biloxi) and D'Iberville Elementary School for receiving the 2020 National Blue Ribbon School Award from the United States Department of Education.

Popp's Ferry Elementary is a Title I school serving 500 kindergarten through third grade students under Principal Dr. Vivian Malone and Superintendent Marcus Boudreaux.

D'Iberville Elementary is a Title I school serving over 700 kindergarten through fourth grade students under Principal Cindy Dusang and Superintendent Roy Gill; this is the school's second Blue Ribbon Award, having previously won in 2009.

Commends both schools for academic excellence and closing achievement gaps among students, representing two of four Mississippi schools receiving this award in 2020.

Directs presentation of the resolution to school principals, the Biloxi School District Board of Trustees, the State Board of Education, and Capitol Press Corps.
