Mourns the death of Luzern "Sonny" Dillon of McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at age 72 from COVID-19 complications.

Recognizes Dillon as the first black-elected official in Walthall County, elected as Tylertown Alderman in the 1970s with biracial support.

Honors Dillon's career as a funeral home owner and operator, including 37 years at Washington Funeral Home and ownership of Craft and Craft-Ginn Funeral Chapel from 1998-2013.

Acknowledges his civic service including eight years on the State Funeral Service Board, presidency of the Walthall County NAACP Chapter, and membership in McComb Rotary Club and Pike County Minority Business League.

Directs the resolution to be presented to Dillon's surviving family, forwarded to the Mississippi State Board of Funeral Service, and distributed to the Capitol Press Corps.
