Amends Mississippi Code Section 43-19-101 to prohibit imputation of income based on standard amounts without fact-gathering in child support calculations.

Requires courts to base child support obligations on specific evidence of the obligated parent's actual circumstances, including assets, employment history, job skills, education, age, health, criminal record, and local job market conditions.

Adds requirement that courts consider the basic subsistence needs of obligated parents with limited ability to pay when adjusted gross income exceeds $100,000 or falls below $10,000.

Maintains existing child support award guidelines based on percentage of adjusted gross income (14% for one child, up to 26% for five or more children).

Effective date: July 1, 2022.
