Brings forward existing Mississippi Code sections 63-1-208, 63-1-210, and 63-1-211 regarding commercial driver's licenses (CDL) and commercial learner's permits for possible amendment without making substantive changes

Current law requires CDL applicants to be at least 21 years old for interstate commerce, but allows intrastate-only CDLs for persons 18 years or older with a restriction limiting driving to within Mississippi

Permits third-party examiners certified through the International Driver Examiner Certification program to administer CDL knowledge and skills tests

Allows persons with diabetes to obtain intrastate-only CDLs if they meet specific medical monitoring requirements, including annual examinations by a board-certified endocrinologist and regular blood glucose self-monitoring

Effective date of July 1, 2022
