Authorizes county boards of supervisors and municipal governing authorities to enter into lease agreements for fire stations with a primary term not exceeding twenty years.

Adds fire stations to the list of facility types that counties and municipalities are already authorized to lease, which includes public buildings, courthouses, office buildings, jails, auditoriums, community centers, civic art centers, public libraries, and gymnasiums.

Lease agreements may be entered into with corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, joint ventures, or individuals.

Clarifies that the provision does not authorize acquisition of public school buildings through rental contracts.

Effective July 1, 2022.
