Amends Section 25-41-3 of the Mississippi Code to expand the definition of "public body" under open meetings law to include subcommittees.

Adds "or subcommittee" to the existing definition of public body, making subcommittees of state agencies, political subdivisions, and municipal corporations subject to open meetings requirements.

Exempts legislative subcommittees and legislative conference committees from the open meetings requirements.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
