Removes the Executive Director of the Department of Finance and Administration from the Public Procurement Review Board, reducing membership from 6 to 5 members (3 appointed by Governor, 2 by Lieutenant Governor)

Prohibits individuals from serving on the board if they have been an officer or employee of the State of Mississippi within one year of service, though members serving as of July 1, 2022 may complete their current terms

Maintains existing qualifications requiring board members to have at least five years of management experience in business, health care, or finance, and prohibits those receiving state grants, procurements, or contracts from serving

Takes effect July 1, 2022
