Authorizes state agencies to grant up to six days of administrative leave with pay within a six-month period to employees who are qualified members of the Mississippi Wing of the Civil Air Patrol participating in official emergency services missions.

Permits employees of public or private businesses to take leave of absence without loss of pay, rank, seniority, or efficiency rating when participating in official Civil Air Patrol emergency services missions in Mississippi or contiguous states at employer discretion.

Requires Civil Air Patrol to request employee participation for leave eligibility under both state and private sector provisions.

Protects employees on Civil Air Patrol leave from workers' compensation coverage as state employees and shields the state from liability claims under Chapter 46, Title 11 of Mississippi Code.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
