Amends Mississippi Code Section 9-13-25 to require court reporters to provide transcripts upon request of the court or judicial hearing officer in proceedings where the state pays for the court reporter

Updates existing language to replace gendered pronouns ("he") with gender-neutral references to "the court reporter" throughout the statute

Applies to proceedings, hearings, or trials before state courts, state boards, or state agencies

Maintains existing requirements for court reporters to take complete stenographic notes of oral evidence and proceedings, note objections and rulings, and prepare typewritten transcripts upon party request

Effective date of July 1, 2022
