Amends Mississippi Code sections 5-1-1 and 5-1-3 to impose term limits on state legislators in both the House of Representatives and Senate.

Prohibits legislators from serving more than three consecutive four-year terms in the same chamber, with a requirement to sit out at least one full four-year term before becoming eligible again.

Excludes partial terms filled due to vacancies from counting toward the three-term limit.

Effective date is July 1 following certification by the Secretary of State that a related constitutional amendment (House Concurrent Resolution No. ____, 2022 Regular Session) has passed.
