Amends Section 25-31-10, Mississippi Code of 1972, to authorize the 13th Circuit Court District to appoint two additional full-time criminal investigators for a total of three investigators.

Moves the 13th Circuit from the list of districts authorized one additional investigator to the list of districts authorized two additional investigators.

Effective July 1, 2022, with a second amendment effective January 1, 2023, that also adds the Twenty-third Circuit Court District to the list of districts authorized one additional investigator.

Maximum salary for criminal investigators remains $59,500 annually, with discretion for adjustments based on qualifications, education, and experience.

Criminal investigator positions can be used for Law Enforcement Officers Training Program attendance at the district attorney's expense.
