Prohibits salary and compensation increases or decreases for state legislators, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, President Pro Tempore, and Speaker Pro Tempore from taking effect during their current term of office

Requires any legislated salary changes to become effective on the first day of the next legislative term following passage of the authorizing legislation

Amends Sections 5-1-41, 5-1-43, 5-1-45, and 5-1-46 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to implement these timing restrictions

Current compensation referenced includes $10,000 per regular session for legislators, $1,500 monthly expense allowance, $60,000 annual salary for Lieutenant Governor and Speaker, and $15,000 annual salary for President Pro Tempore and Speaker Pro Tempore
