Authorizes issuance of state general obligation bonds up to $6,892,000 to fund Jackson Police Department improvements, with no bonds issued after July 1, 2026.

Creates a "2022 City of Jackson Public Safety Fund" within the State Treasury to disburse bond proceeds for construction of a real-time command center, ShotSpotter equipment, and patrol operations technology systems.

Bonds are general obligations of Mississippi backed by full faith and credit of the state, with principal and interest payable over up to 25 years from issue date.

Bond proceeds may not be used for other purposes, and any remaining funds after project completion shall be applied to debt service on the bonds.

Bonds are exempt from state taxation and qualify as legal investments for trustees, fiduciaries, banks, and insurance companies.
