Appropriates $83,150,000.00 from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund to the Department of Finance and Administration for distribution to Lee County and municipalities in Lee County for specified projects during fiscal year 2023.

Distributes funds as follows: Lee County $28,300,000; City of Tupelo $22,200,000; City of Verona $10,500,000; City of Baldwyn $6,000,000; City of Guntown $5,400,000; City of Nettleton $4,250,000; City of Saltillo $2,400,000; Town of Plantersville $2,550,000; Town of Sherman $1,100,000; Town of Shannon $450,000.

Requires the Department of Finance and Administration to verify that all expenditures comply with Section 602 of the Social Security Act and Treasury Department guidelines for the American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund before disbursing any funds.

Mandates that recipients who misuse funds must repay the State of Mississippi if federal audits determine non-compliance with Treasury Department requirements, and the state must repay the federal government.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
