Authorizes the City of Gulfport's mayor and city council to contribute, allocate, pledge, loan, or otherwise provide municipal funds to a transportation commission established under Mississippi Code Sections 21-27-11 and 21-27-13

Funds may be provided with specific requirements, conditions, or restrictions on their use, or as general provisions without any restrictions

Permitted uses of funds include design and construction of roads, bridges, transportation corridors, and other infrastructure

Funds may also be used for operational expenses, capital resources, property, equipment, materials, supplies, or any other lawful purpose

Applies to motor vehicle passenger transportation systems operating within city boundaries, including the Mississippi Coast Transit Authority and its successors
