Amends Section 43-13-117 of Mississippi Code to establish that telehealth services provided by Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), and Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) are billable at the same face-to-face encounter rate used for all other Medicaid reimbursements under the prospective payment system.

Recognizes FQHCs, RHCs, and CMHCs as both originating and distant site providers for telehealth reimbursement purposes, allowing these organizations to bill for both types of services when appropriately provided.

Directs the Division of Medicaid to reimburse FQHCs, RHCs, and CMHCs the applicable Medicaid fee for both distant site and originating site telehealth services when provided by the same organization.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
