Creates a new sales tax diversion beginning August 15, 2022, allocating 18.5% of sales tax revenue collected on business activities within Pearl River Valley Water Supply District property outside municipal corporate limits to the district.

Applies the diversion to sales tax revenue except that collected under Sections 27-65-15, 27-65-19(3), 27-65-21, and 27-65-24.

Amends Section 27-65-53 to include the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District in overpayment and error correction procedures that previously applied only to municipalities and state institutions of higher learning.

Establishes July 1, 2022, as the effective date for the legislation.
