Expands Medicaid eligibility to individuals under 65 years of age who are not pregnant, not enrolled in Medicare, and have income at or below 133% of the federal poverty level, as authorized by the Affordable Care Act

Eligible individuals under the expansion would receive benchmark or benchmark-equivalent coverage as defined in Section 1937 of the federal Social Security Act

The Division of Medicaid would determine eligibility for individuals covered under this expansion

Amends Section 43-13-115 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 regarding Medicaid recipient eligibility categories

Effective date of July 1, 2022
