Amends Section 43-13-317 of the Mississippi Code to require the Division of Medicaid to promptly sell or lease any residence it acquires from a deceased Medicaid recipient's estate through the recovery process.

Mandates that the Division take necessary actions to ensure occupied residences are not left vacant while owned by the state.

Applies only when the Division assumes ownership of a residence as a consequence of seeking recovery of Medicaid payments from a deceased recipient's estate.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
