Extends the repealer date for Section 25-15-15, Mississippi Code of 1972, from July 1, 2025 (the original date in current law) to allow continued state payment requirements for the State and School Employees Health Insurance Plan.

Maintains state payment of 100% of health insurance costs for employees initially hired before January 1, 2006, and 100% of basic coverage for employees hired on or after January 1, 2006, with employees able to purchase additional coverage at their own expense.

Requires state funding through line-item appropriations to pay health insurance costs for public library staff, school district employees working 20+ hours weekly, regular nonstudent bus drivers, and community/junior college employees working 20+ hours weekly.

Allows the board to assess active full-time employees up to $20.00 per month toward premiums and establishes provisions for investing insurance funds and managing late charges and penalties.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
