Extends the repealer date for the Bolivar County Regional Facility drug and alcohol treatment program from July 3, 2022 to July 1, 2025

The Department of Corrections may contract with the facility for a five-year pilot program serving up to 250 inmates who are within 18 months of their earned release or parole date

The treatment program must include assessment and placement, intensive rehabilitation addressing specific substance abuse problems, aftercare transition planning (employment, housing, medical care, relapse prevention), and recidivism monitoring

The facility must be reimbursed at the per diem rate under Section 47-5-933, and may cancel the contract with 30 days' notice; the Department must remove violent or non-participating inmates within 72 hours of notification

The Department must file annual reports on program recidivism data, and the program may be renewed if it meets legislative performance requirements
