Increases maximum annual salaries for county board of supervisors members based on county assessed valuation, ranging from $33,500 to $54,000 depending on county size.

Permits boards of supervisors to approve additional salary increases of up to $2,000 effective January 1, 2024, and again effective January 1, 2028, but not in the final year of a supervisor's term.

Prohibits boards from receiving multiple salary increases in the same fiscal year if they approve an increase under the new provisions.

Requires any salary increase to be approved by board resolution and recorded in meeting minutes.

Mandates that no state revenue be used to fund salary increases authorized under this section; increases must be funded from county sources.
