Requires all persons who purchase, own, or possess a tablet press machine to register it with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics

Possession of an unregistered tablet press machine becomes a felony starting January 1, 2023, punishable by a minimum $5,000 fine and 2-5 years imprisonment

Sellers of tablet press machines must maintain detailed transaction records for at least 2 years, including buyer identification, photos, vehicle information, and signed ownership statements

Purchasers must hold newly acquired machines separately for at least 3 business days and allow law enforcement inspection during that period

Known as the "Victoria Huggins Act," effective July 1, 2022
