• Requires the State Department of Health to verify all expenditures comply with federal Social Security Act Section 602 (American Rescue Plan Act) guidelines and ensure recipients have not received duplicate reimbursement from other sources.

• Makes departments and recipients liable for repaying to Mississippi any funds determined by federal inspectors to have been spent improperly, with those repayments returned to the federal government.
