Authorizes judges to issue search warrants based on sworn oral testimony communicated by telephone or other means for investigations of computer crimes involving sex offenses against children, dispensing with written affidavits when circumstances make it reasonable.

Requires the person requesting the warrant to prepare and read a "duplicate original warrant" verbatim to the judge, who enters the information on the "original warrant" and may direct modifications.

Mandates that judges immediately place all callers under oath and record the entire call by voice recording, stenographic record, or longhand verbatim record, with recordings transcribed and certified for filing with the court.

Requires the warrant contents to be identical to those of a warrant based on affidavit, with the exact time of execution entered on the duplicate original warrant.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
