Amends Mississippi Code Section 71-3-47 to require the Workers' Compensation Commission to order an emergency hearing within 20 days of either party's request or petition for such hearing.

Grants the commission full power and authority to determine all questions relating to payment of workers' compensation claims and to order hearings upon application of either party or on its own initiative.

Maintains existing procedures for informal conferences and hearings conducted by commission representatives, with decisions filed in the commission's office and notice sent to interested parties.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
