Prohibits employers from paying employees of one sex less than employees of the opposite sex for equal work requiring equal skill, effort, and responsibility under similar working conditions

Allows pay differentials based on seniority systems, merit systems, production-based pay systems, or any factor other than sex

Creates a private right of action allowing aggrieved employees to file petitions in Mississippi circuit court

Employees who prevail in court are entitled to remedies consistent with federal Title VII or Title IX violations

Effective date of July 1, 2022
