Authorizes courts to void any action taken by a public body in violation of Mississippi's Open Meetings Law if the court determines the public interest in voiding the action outweighs the interest in sustaining it

Requires violations to be proven by a preponderance of the evidence before a court can void the action

Allows any aggrieved party to bring an enforcement suit within 6 months of the violation, with an absolute deadline of 2 years after the violation date

Exempts bond issuances and other public debt instruments from being voided if a public hearing, election, or public sale was held regarding the bonds

Maintains existing enforcement authority of the Mississippi Ethics Commission, including civil penalties up to $500 for first offenses and $1,000 for subsequent willful violations
