Authorizes online voter registration for first-time voters who have a current and valid Mississippi driver's license or photo identification card issued by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety

Requires the Secretary of State, with support from the Department of Public Safety, to establish a secure website for submitting voter registration applications and for existing voters to change their name, address, or other registration information

Mandates verification that applicant information (driver's license/ID number, name, date of birth, citizenship) matches records on file with the Department of Public Safety before registration is approved

Requires voter registration cards to be sent both by mail and by email to the address provided on the application

Subjects anyone who attempts to fraudulently register to vote online to penalties for false registration under Section 97-13-25

Effective date of July 1, 2022
