Brings forward Section 43-13-139, Mississippi Code of 1972, which authorizes the Governor to discontinue or limit Medicaid assistance to persons in optional groups or categories of recipients under federal Title XIX guidelines.

Allows the Governor discretionary authority to reduce or eliminate state Medicaid funding for optional recipient groups or service categories at the Governor's discretion.

Requires the state to cease funding for any recipient group or service category if the federal government discontinues matching funds, regardless of other provisions in state law.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
