Prohibits property acquired through eminent domain from being transferred to any person, nongovernmental entity, public-private partnership, corporation, or other business entity for 10 years after acquisition

Exempts infrastructure projects including drainage and levee facilities, roads, bridges, flood control projects, seawalls, dams, toll roads, public airports, ports, harbors, and utility facilities (telephone, gas, electricity, water, sewer, etc.)

Exempts property acquired to remove public nuisances, structures beyond repair or unfit for habitation, abandoned property, or direct threats to public health or safety

Effective date of July 1, 2022
