Appropriates $16,250,000 from the State General Fund to the City of Port Gibson for water and sewer system improvements for fiscal year 2023

Allocates $5,300,000 for construction of a new water treatment plant with modern technology to replace the current facility

Provides $8,000,000 for replacement of old water lines and sewer lines under city streets

Designates $2,500,000 for drilling and construction of a new, deeper city water well

Includes $350,000 for sewage treatment plant lagoon work and $100,000 for repairs and security upgrades at the Water Department
