Adds new paragraph (28) to Section 43-13-115 of Mississippi Code to extend Medicaid coverage for women who were eligible while pregnant to continue coverage for twelve (12) months postpartum.

Women must have been eligible for Medicaid benefits under any provision of Section 43-13-115 during their pregnancy to qualify for the extended postpartum coverage.

The Division of Medicaid shall redetermine eligibility for all recipient categories no less frequently than required by federal law.

Effective date is July 1, 2022.
