Commends and congratulates the Ole Miss Rebels All Girl Cheerleading Team and Head Coach Troy Allen for winning the 2022 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Division 1A Game Day National Championship.

Team won the national title with a score of 97.2333 in the finals, marking their first championship since 2018 and the second in five years.

All Girl squad also won bronze in the Cheer category, while the coed team finished seventh in Game Day and 11th in Cheer.

Head Coach Troy Allen led the team to victory in his first year as head coach, providing a perfect ending to the collegiate cheer careers of six seniors on the All Girl squad.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Head Coach Troy Allen, Ole Miss Chancellor Glenn Boyce, the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning, and the Capitol Press Corps.
